The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were average with older carpet and a pet odor, but Joe the Bartender provided amazing service. However, there was no microwave available. The service was a bit of a mixed bag - some staff didn't notice issues while cleaning, but individuals like Joe, Kim, and the front desk ladies were wonderful. The location was not perfect but offered a quiet and roomy atmosphere; however, the detour to access the city was challenging. The dining experience had some drawbacks like ongoing construction but great service overall. Overall, the facilities were decent with some areas needing improvement.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and very clean, but unfortunately, they were quite loud at times, which was a downside. The location was a letdown compared to previous stays, with stained carpets and an overall disappointing vibe. On the bright side, the service was friendly and accommodating.

The location is not bad, especially with the for-pay shuttle service provided, but it's a bit hard to find. It's accessible to downtown Asheville but not as close as expected.

Dining was very good indeed, with the best we had on our trip. The Cuban Sandwich at Overlook was a highlight.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location gave a sense of seclusion up on a hill, but not too far from the activities in Asheville. The service was exceptionally helpful, although the room had some issues like lingering odors and outdated decor.

Rooms
5.0
The room felt stuffy with poor air circulation, and there was a dog smell from previous occupants. Additionally, spiders were crawling on the curtains. The loud construction noise outside our room in the early morning was bothersome.
Service
7.0
The staff just brushed off our concerns, saying they couldn't find a resolution. However, they were super helpful with various services like room service and car hire.
Location
6.0
The hotel's location up on a hill provided a secluded feel, and though not very close to Asheville's attractions, the shuttle service was convenient.
Dining
8.0
The dining experience was reasonably priced and offered a variety of dishes like omelettes, waffles, grits, and fresh fruits. The Cuban sandwich at the Overlook was excellent.
Facilities
The facilities were outdated and styled like a motel. They weren't as clean as I expected.
